About Us The SWSFP is a unique partnership consisting of the Regional Forester, the state foresters of New Mexico and Arizona, U.S. Forest Products Lab, and the Bureau of Land Management. It is dedicated to positively addressing the ecological, economic and social effects of creating sustainable community and tribal-based forest and wood products enterprises. Goals of SWSFP Provide technical transfer opportunities that promote the science of healthy forest ecosystems and the acceptable practices for reducing hazardous forest fuels.
